In this case, the line between the player’s character (Wander) and his steed (Agro) is as blurred as possible, with the trusted horse relied upon to take down more than one of the titular colossi. Despite her name, Agro showed a calm loyalty that spoke volumes, and exhibited a sacrifice that is still etched in the memory of all who pla

Marking the series’ first foray into the next generation of games, Timesplitters 4 would be able to capitalize on the current hardware in order to expand on everything that made the earlier games so memorable. The series has always focused on familiar, arcade gameplay and this installment should be no different. With the increased memory of current consoles, this would mean even larger, more diverse worlds to explore, more imaginative characters to interact with and play as, and in keeping with what the series is best known for, an even more frantic multiplayer experie

One of the big surprises at last year’s E3 was the reveal of a brand new IP called Days Gone from Sony Bend, the studio behind the Syphon Filter franchise. Peter Molyneux has created a number of legendary titles since he began making games in the ’80s, earning numerous accolades and pioneering one of the most important genres in gaming history. But his ambition has become somewhat infamous over time; he’s always reaching for creative new ways to play and experience games, but almost always misses the target in some way, shape or form. And Molyneux’s eagerness to innovate is no secret (he’s admitted it himself): he’s formed a recurring theme for anything he’s made. Peter Molyneux refuses to settle in the current environment of gaming; whether it’s good, bad or in between, the Lionhead visionary has never stayed in one place in the industry. He loves the future, but can never reach it. He hates the past, but can never embrace its strengths. Welcome to the Molyneux Paradigm.

These 10 games and many others are sure to make E3 2017 a can’t-miss event for gamers. And while the games on this list are highly likely to be at E3 in some capacity, it’s worth noting that the show is usually filled with surprises as well, meaning that the most exciting game at E3 might not even be announced

The hero can live up to their end of the bargain or choose to break the promise in order to earn more money. While it seems like a simple ‘Good v. Evil’ character decision, it’s not black and white. A large amount of money is required to defend Albion from an outside foe. These choices go beyond the standard ‘Good v. Evil’ choices found in most games like this, and it really adds to the experience of the game. Players finally will feel like every choice they make can/will affect the world in some way. In turn, the third section of the game is directly affected by choices in the second. So depending on the choices made in the first sections, the world of Albion will be quite different at the end of the game. In the interest of not spoiling major plot points, I won’t go into further detail about the third sect

Then we played it. The love Molyneux spoke of can be seen in the human marriages, relationships, or children made possible in the game, but the one bond all players share is that between their player and their trusty
